TRUCK DRIVER TOM: the real thing!

This is Tom, a real truck driver!  

I love hearing from readers. I got an email from a children's librarian who had just given my book Truck Driver Tom to her grandchildren: her husband's (their grandfather's) name is Tom and he is a truck driver! She said a few years ago he retired after teaching high school math for 28 years, and he started driving tractor-trailers for a change of pace.

Here's his truck, a Kenworth tractor-trailer, with quite a load. 

And this is a great picture of the dashboard with all the gauges!

VROOM, VROOM, Tom is ready to go! I think these are such cool pictures - hope they bring a smile to your face too!
