I love ballet (Although I haven't done a book about dance yet, sometimes it shows up in my pictures - like in this one from "Squeaking of Art"). This entry is about my favorite ballet blogs:
www.thewinger.com This blog was started by Kristin Sloan, a NYCBallet corps member, and many other dancers of one kind or another have joined in too.
www.oberon481.typepad.com And read here about the beautiful performances at the NYCBallet (and opera). This blog is written by a very enthusiastic and insightful fan (I don't know who he is but, personally, I think he often writes better reviews than the "professionals" in the NYTimes!)
www.rantingdetails.blogspot.com This one is written by a young ABT dancer, Matthew Murphy, at times thoughful, funny, off the subject., but just about always interesting.
www.ballettalk.invisionzone.com How to describe this one? There are forums going on all kinds of subjects covering dancers and companies all around the world. I think anyone can contribute. I enjoy listening in.
